Unleashing branding’s power through interactive surrounding experiences. – Branding project during UN Habitat Assembly in Nairobi
Client: UN Habitat, Kenya
The branding for the conference was predefined, but the creative interpretation within the conference space was open-ended. Given the familiarity of the venue to many attendees, it was crucial that they quickly discerned the presence of something new and gained a clear impression of the unique event they were participating in.
The branding was leveraged and expanded upon, resulting in a creative and playful atmosphere. Existing elements such as pillars and water features were utilized in innovative ways. Simultaneously, well known generic conference halls were transformed into captivating spaces through the strategic use of lighting, sound, and live plants. These elements served to underscore the theme that sustainable cities are the way forward, making the entire experience both visually engaging and conceptually impactful.

Green soft light, chirping birds and living plants contributed to good results

The roundabout featuring an installation and entrance portal, through which participants had to pass, also served as a tangible representation of the conference theme: “How to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals during times of crises.” Explore it here.
