Emerging Solutions in times of Global Crises – an installation
Client: UN Habitat, Kenya
The first three cubes progressively emerge from the ground, representing the initial struggles of sustainable urban development.
The fourth cube serves as a portal to the Assembly area focusing on solutions for achieving SDGs.
The visitors can take a break and interact between sessions. The installation invites you to reflect on the progress made towards achieving SDGs over the past four years and the actions that can be taken to create more livable, sustainable, and resilient cities and emerge stronger after crises.

The cubes are constructed from sustainable perforated material and designed to be visually striking, particularly at night when they are illuminated.
The installation is constructed on a scaffold base, making it possible to disassemble and reassemble the cubes in other locations and reuse the material. The use of sustainable materials and energy-efficient lighting design emphasizes the importance of achieving SDG 11 in a responsible and sustainable manner.
